Walking for Every Parent
Kiran was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. Just one year later, after successful treatment at The Princess Margaret, and being given less than a 10% chance of recurrence, she embarked on her first Journey.“I walk for every parent who has had sleepless nights, wondering if they are going to be able to raise their kids,” says Kiran. “…And I want to support The Journey because it’s directly supporting The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. No one needs convincing. Everyone I talk to, EVERYONE, has had someone affected by cancer! Everyone’s excited to be a part of this…so let’s do what we can now to raise the funds to find the cure!”
